  1. I would like to thank you all for providing such a wonderful place for these dogs to stay while there looking for there forever homes. I had never heard of this breed up until the 200 dog seizure down south but I’m so thankful you are a rescue group who knows about the dogs and there needs . I’m afraid if it wasn’t for you these dogs would have got into the wrong hands.

I do have a question for you out of interest. I know that this breed is crossed with a Wolf but what are they usually bread with? I want to come and visit your facility and was wondering if I could get directions. I live in Sherwood Park Alberta so I would head south on highway 2.

Thank you again for all you do. Take care and keep rescuing, Im a foster home for the collie rescue network and it’s the best feeling to know that we can all save one dog at a time.

    • Hi Donna,
It really is a wonderful facility. And the people there care a lot about the animals and it shows in everything they do.

I am actually not associated with the organization, just an impressed tourist who was able to visit last year.

Their contact info is at http://yamnuskawolfdogsanctuary.com/contact-us/ or you can email them at wolfdog@banfftours.com and I know they’ll be happy to answer your questions.

Have a wonderful day and I do hope you are able to visit them.
